Job Description

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role includes coordinating teams, assigning responsibilities, developing project plans, and communicating with stakeholders. The IT Project Manager will work closely with technical teams, leadership, and external partners to drive project success and manage potential risks.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or technology-driven projects. Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Experience managing projects related to IT infrastructure, software development, or technology integration. Proficiency with project management software such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities, risks, and project constraints. Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are preferred.

Must Have

Develop, implement, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for IT initiatives. Identify project requirements, define scope, and establish performance standards. Assign tasks, direct project staff, and coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion. Manage risks and issues that may impact project outcomes, and develop mitigation plans. Provide timely status updates and reports to stakeholders, leadership, and clients. Ensure projects meet business objectives, technical requirements, and quality standards. Collaborate with technical teams, end users, and business leaders to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Conduct project evaluations, lessons learned, and recommend process improvements.
